Brigadier DG Hewage RSP made his first official visit to the 1st Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps Headquarters deployed in Werahera on 2nd April 2019 after assuming duties as the Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps.
Upon his arrival at the 1 SLAMC, a Drive Pass greeted him at the main gate, the Commanding Officer Major DMDJ Dissanayake RSP USP received him and was followed by a briefing by the Second in Command and planted a sapling in the camp premises in order to commemorate the visit.
Regimental Centre Staff Officers were also joined for the visit with the Centre Commandant. Afterward, Centre Commandant was invited for all rank tea and after that he addressed to the gathering of officers and other ranks at the 1SLAMC premises.
