MUSICAL SHOW ORGANIZED BY MEDICAL CORPS REGIMENT FOR THE 29TH COY DAY

Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps Regiment conducted a grand musical show as the final segment of the 29th Coy Day of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps Regiment on 15th January 2019. The musical show marked as the last event of the Coy Day programme which started on 18th December 2018. Subsequently to the musical show get together organized in the Offrs’ mess, WOs’ & Sgts’ mess, Cpl club and Pte mess.

Director General Army Health Services and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Medical Corps Maj Gen SH Munasinghe RWP RSP USP invited for the event as the chief guest and received by the Sri Lanka Medical Corps Centre Commandant Brig WMJRK Senaratne RWP RSP.

The event started with lighting of traditional oil lamp by the Colonel Commandant and other senior Offrs. The musical show commenced with a welcome dance by the Sri Lanka Army dancing group. The band performed with Ranaviru Real Star artists entertains the audience along with their fascinating voices. End of the session one, Director General Army Health Services and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Medical Corps Maj Gen SH Munasinghe RWP RSP USP, Director army medical Services Maj Gen KP Sumanapala, Director of Army Medical Procument Services Maj Gen Wickramasinghe, presented the certificate of gratitude to the retired SNCOS’ and presented the trophies for Cricket and Volleyball tournament winners and runners-up.

After the presentation, the second session of musical show started with the artists played beautiful songs with the band. The Army dancing group added the colours to the musical show with their talent throughout the session. The fire crackers in the background also gave a wonderful sight of enjoyment to the crowd.
