MEDICAL CORPS ORGANIZES BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN TO MARK THEIR 30TH ANNIVERSARY

Regtl Centre SLAMC conducted a blood donation campaign on 23rd December 2019 at Werahara Regtl Centre premises coincide with their 30th Anniversary.

More than 112 Officers and Other Ranks volunteered to donate blood during the event. The programme was conducted under the guidance of The Colonel Commandant Maj Gen SH Munasinghe RWP RSP VSV USP and The Centre Commandant. The blood donation programme was supported by a team of medical staff from the Army Hospital Narahenpita and led by the Military specialist in Transfusion Medicine Lt Col DRSA Jayamanne RSP USP. The collected blood will be donated to the National Blood Bank Colombo.
