BRIGADIER DG HEWAGE RSP TOOK OVER DUTIES AS THE NEW CENTRE COMMANDANT

The newly appointed Centre commandant Brig DG Hewage RSP was warmly welcomed by the Deputy Centre Commandant Col KGKH Wijewardane RSP USP on his arrival to the Corps Headquarters and he was bestowed with a guard turnout.

Brig DG Hewage RSP took his office, placing the signature on a formal document at an auspicious time amidst Seth Pirith by Maha Sangha. After taking over the appointment, the Centre Commandant planted a Mango sapling in the premises of Corps Headquarters. Afterwards, the Centre Commandant addressed all Officers and other Ranks at the pavilion and followed by Tea with All Ranks at the conference hall. In the evening Centre Commandant inspect the accommodation area, messing area and the Office area.
