Assumes Duties as the 18th Commanding Officer of the Army Base Hospital Palaly

Major PLAA Lekamge, assumed duties as the 18th Commanding Officer of the Army Base Hospital Palaly on 25 July 2025.

The newly appointed Commanding Officer was warmly welcomed by Major N N N Madushanka, the Second in Command and saluted with the Guard Turnout. The Commanding Officer symbolically signed an official document amidst religious blessings to signify the acceptance of his duties.

In the next segment, the senior officer planted a sapling to mark the special occasion, followed by a group photograph. Thereafter, the newly appointed Commanding Officer shared his thoughts and views during the troop address.

The Second in Command, all officers and other ranks, attended the occasion.
