Brigadier MM Salwathura RWP RSP USP assumed duties as the 25th Center Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps ( SLAMC) at the Headquarters, SLAMC, Werahera on 05 December 2022.The newly appointed Center Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Deputy Center Commandant, SLAMC and honoured in a Guard Turnout.
The Senior Officer placed his signature in an official document to mark his assumption of duties at an auspicious time. Afterwards, the Senior Officer was invited to plant a sapling as a gesture of memory and he performed his maiden address for the troops of RHQ SLAMC.
