SPECIAL RELIGIOUS OBSERVANCES FOR COMMEMORATING THE FALLEN PEOPLE

As per the direction given by the Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi, Major General G V Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG, and under the guidance of General Officer Commanding of 57 Division, Brigadier A S Hewawitharana RSP USP ndc IG, troops of 1 SLSR organized a special religious observances on 18 May 2019 at Korakkankaddu Pullayar Kovil for commemorating the fallen people during the humanitarian operations in Kilinochchi area under the close supervision of the Commander 573 Brigade Colonel RAJN Ranasingha RSP USP. The Commander 573 Brigade and Commanding Officer 1 SLSR participated for the event with 40 Army personals and 70 Civilians in the area.
