57 Division troops under Security Forces Headquarters - Kilinochchi, distributed over 15000 saplings among civilians in Thiruvaiaru area and Vaddakachchi area to encourage the growth habit and to boost their day to day living standards.
Under the patronage of 16th Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment distributed among 450 selected civilians from Thiruvaiaru area received 3552 Jack saplings, 1569 Kumbuk saplings and 5636 other plants on 06 April 2018.
Meanwhile, troops of 6th Sri Lanka National Guards distributed 1500 Jack saplings and 2000 over plants among 550 civilians at Vaddakachchi area.
