BLOOD DONATION PROGRAMME ORGANIZED BY 3RD BATTALION GAJABA REGIMENT

On a request from District General Hospital Kilinochchi in order to fulfil the blood shortage in Kilinochchi Blood Bank, 3rd Battalion Gajaba Regiment initiated a blood donation Programme on 02 April 2020 at battalion headquarters premises.

This programme was launched with the direction of the Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi, Major General HMJK Gunaratne WWV RWP RSP ndc psc and close supervision of Major General BPS De Silva RSP, the General Officer Commanding 57 Division and the Commander 574 Brigade.

A medical team from District General Hospital Kilinochchi conducted this blood donation program successfully and large number of Officers and Other Ranks voluntarily made their contribution to donate blood during the event.
