TROOPS OF 65 DIVISION DISTRIBUTED RELIEF PACKS TO LOW INCOME FAMILIES

Distributed dry ration and fresh vegetable packets to 25 selected low income families in Thunukkai and Uilankulam area by troops of 65 division on 31 March 2020. The programme was initiate to help people those who are difficult of buying their essentials due to loss of their daily labour work and imposition of curfew against spread of COVID-19.

This programme was launched under direction of the Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi, Major General HMJK Gunaratne WWV RWP RSP ndc psc and the close supervision of Major General DMHD Bandara RWP RSP USP, The General Officer Commanding of 65 Division.
