“UTHURA DAKUNA YAAKARANA SANHIDIYAWE SITHUWAM PAWURA”

Under the theme of “Uthura Dakuna Yaakarana Sanhidiyawe Sithuwam Pawura” Troops of 17 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry organized to draw art on the wall of Mallavi Central College from 14 to 18 February 2020, with the direction of the General Officer Commanding 65 Division, Major General DMHD Bandara RWP RSP USP and under the supervision of Commander 653 Brigade for enhance the public relationship, develop the cooperation and to win the hearts and mind of the civil community.

President of “Kolomthota Viyathmaga” (The Voice of Colombo Intellectuals) Professor Surathissa Dissanyake and his subordinate artiest, Teachers of Mallavi Central College, University students, Artiest in Mallavi area and Troops of 19 Sri Lanka Light Infantry, 1st Regiment Special Forces, 7 Sri Lanka Electrical & Mechanical Engineers, 17 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry, 7th Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard, 4 Sri Lanka Army Women’s corps were attended to draw this wall art. Special support was given by Priest of St Sebastian Church in Mallavi, Derana Aruna and Old Boys of Mallavi Central College by providing paints.
