SECURITY FORCES KILINOCHCHI INITIATED DISTRIBUTION OF SOLAR POWER PANELS TO NEEDY FAMILIES IN 663 BRIGADE AOR

Ten families of remote villages such as Vannerikulam, Jayapuram, Veravil and Vallaipadu.in the 663 Brigade area under Karachchi and Poonaryn Divisional Secretariat in the 66 Division Headquarters, were donated solar power panels.

With the guidance of Commander, Security Forces Kilinochchi Major General GV Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG and General Officer Commanding of 66 Division, Major General M D Wijesundara RSP, troops of 663 Brigade have taken effort to conduct distribution of solar power panels with turkey berry plants to encourage home gardening in those families. The event was organized by the troops 15 SLA and 2 SLNG with the supervision of Colonel Subashan Liyanagama, Commander 663 Brigade at 1000 hrs on 21st November 2019 at Veravil civil affairs office with the participation of religious leaders, school principals and civilians.

The benefited families appreciated and paid their humble gratitude towards the military personals for rendering the invaluable service to poor families in the area.
