57 DIVISION WAS BLESSED IN DIWALI

Under the guidance of Major General Pradeep de Silva RSP, the General Officer Commanding 57 Division, the troops of 57 Division organized religious rituals for blessing the division in front of the Headquarter premises Kilinochchi from 1800 hour onward on 27 October 2019 to celebrate the Diwali. The Kurukkals of Kandasami Kovil Kilinochchi conducted the blessings rituals. This was organized with the aim of enhancing the relationship between the military and civilians in the area of responsibility and blessing the 57 Division. General Officer Commanding 57 Division, Brigade Commanders, other senior officers and troops under command to 57 Division participated for the event. Around 200 military personals participated in the pooja along with civilians in the area of the responsibility.
