Undergraduates of Faculty of Agriculture and Engineering, University of Jaffna, Ariviyalnagar organized a Blood donation programme on 26 October 2019 at District General Hospital Kilinochchi on the request of the authority of blood bank in order to overcome the shortage of blood for cancer patients at Thelippalei hospital. Under the guidence and instruction of Major General GV Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG, Commander Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi and the supervision of Major General B P S de Silva RSP, the General Officer Commanding 57 Division, troops of 57 Division genuinely joined with said programme and voluntarily donated blood to make the event a success. Further, organizing committee highly appreciated the presence of all military troops and the contribution make by then to achieve their target.
