Under the supervision of Major General G V Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG, the Commander Security Forces Headquarters (Kilinochchi), with the guidance of Maj Gen B P S de Silva RSP, the General Officer Commanding 57 Division, the annual “Katina Pooja Pinkama” of Sri Sugatha Viharaya - Mankulam was held on 19 and 20 October 2019. In that, a colorful Katina Perahera was conducted and alms giving for 18 monks was organized. This event was closely supervised by Commander 574 Brigade Colonel I A N B Perera RWP USP psc, and the Officers and all Ranks of Battalions under command to SFHQ (KLN), FMA (KLN) and 57 Division contributed their maximum to successfully conduct the event. Commander Security Forces Headquarters (Kilinochchi), General Officer Commanding 57 Division and number of Senior Officers from the Area of responsibility participated for the event with approximately 400 soldiers and 85 civilians.
