CONDUCTING SHRMADANA CAMPAIGN

Under the guidance of Brigadier AS Hewawitharana RSP USP ndc IG the General Officer Commanding 57 Division, and with the supervision of Commander 571 Brigade, 7 SLLI organized a Shramadana campaign on 20 August 2019 to clean Paravepanjan playground - Kilinochchi. The intention of the campaign was to strengthen the relationship and to win the hearts and minds of civilians in the area of responsibility. Shramadana campaign was held from 0830 hrs to 1230 hrs with the participation of 2 x 40 troops from 7SLLI and 9 VIR Battalions.
