Officers following the Junior Command Course on Counter Insurgency Jungle Warfare (JCC CIJW) No 25 at Army Training School, Maduruoya visited Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi AOR on 08 and 09 July 2019.
They were warmly welcomed by Commander Security Force Kilinochchi, Major General G V Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG at the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi on 08 July 2019. Afterwards they were briefed on the roles and tasks of the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi at the auditorium.
Students then visited 57 Division Headquarters, 571 Brigade, Poonaryn Fort, Sangupiddy Bridge and 24 VIR on the same day. On 09 July, they had the opportunity to visit several key places, related to the Humanitarian Operations conducted few years ago and Kilinochchi Monument, Elephant Pass Monument and Gamini Kularathne Monument.
A total of 25 officers (20 local and 5 foreign) who are following the course, joined the visit.
