57 DIVISION TROOPS DISTRIBUTED DRY RATIONS AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS AMONG THE FLOOD AFFECTED FAMILIES IN KILINOCHCHI

Under the guidance of General Officer Commanding of 57 Division, Major General Vijitha Ravipriya and the supervision of the Commander 573 Brigade, 1st Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and 15th Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment organized brief ceremony to distribute dry rations and household items among 66 x flood affected families in Thadduwankodde and Morasumoddai on 18 February 2019. Dry ration packs were included Noodles, milk powder, sugar, tea, dhal, soya meet and rice.

Mr. Kanthan a residence of Killinochchi financially sponsored to buy those dry ration packs. Further, 15th Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment also distributed parcels contained bed sheets, pillows and pillow cases. It was sponsored by Akkaraipattu Commercial Bank.
