KILINOCHCHI TROOPS INVOLVED IN SHRAMADANA CAMPAIGNS

Troops of 651 and 653 Brigades of 65 Division under Security Force Headquarters -Kilinochchi involved in few CIMIC Projects in the area on 26 and 27 September 2018.

The troops of 19 Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment of 651 Brigade organized a Shramadana campaign to clean the Kalvilan GTM School premises and troops of 10 Sri Lanka Light Infantry and 21 (v) Sri Lanka Light Infantry belongs to 653 Brigade conducted a Shramadana campaign to clean the Vaunikulam Canal. More than 200 Military troops and Civilians participated for said Shramadana campaigns.

Both Shramadana campaigns were organized as per the concept of Commander Security Force Kilinochchi, Major General Niyshshanka Ranawana and under the supervision of Brigadier Wasantha Kumarapperuma, General Officer Commanding - 65 Division.
