SECURITY FORCES HEADQUARTERS KILINOCHCHI CELEBRATED 68TH ARMY DAY WITH SEVERAL EVENTS
Security Forces Headquarters - Kilinochchi celebrated 68th Anniversary of Sri Lanka Army on 10 October 2017 with several events under the guidance of Major General A Kariyakarawana USP ndc- Commander Security Forces - Kilinochchi.\r\n\r\nArmy day ceremony celebrated at the Headquarter premises including hoisting of Army flag, singing Army song and reading the message of the Commander of Army and all rank lunch also held at the same day with participation of Brigadier General Staff, Brigadier Admin & Quartering and Colonel Admin & Quartering, Senior staff Officers and other ranks serving at Security Forces Headquarters – Kilinochchi.\r\n\r\nIn parallel to the main programme approximately 100 soldiers attended on Shramadana campaign at Base Hospital –Kilinochchi on 09 October 2017. During this campaign troops mainly cleaned drainage system and mosquito bleeding places in the hospitals premises. The point is that with enough willpower, hospitals can enforce proper hygiene and keep their patients safe from needless infections.
