57 DIVISION TROOPS FACILITATED WITH NEW UTILITY BUILDING COMPLEX
With the direction and supervision of Major General H J S Gunawardena RSP USP ndc psc General Officer Commanding 57 Division, troops of 57 Division constructed a new utility building complex to uplift the soldiers’ welfare facility those who serving in the headquarters.\r\n\r\nThe new utility building will enhance the facilities required for training, indoor games, conference, civil military activities, recreation and welfare events of soldiers. It was constructed utilizing the resources collected from abandoned military installations and with the support of military funds and it was costed approximately Rs.1.5 million. \r\n\r\nWith the invitation of General Officer Commanding – 57 Division Major General A Kariyakarawana USP ndc Commander Security Forces - Klilinochchi has declared open the ‘Utility Building of 57 Division’ by cutting a ribbon after unveiling the plaque with the blessing of Maha Sanga after the reviewed Guard Turnout presented by troops of 9th Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment in accordance with the military formalities.
