INTAKE 84 OFFICER CADETS PAID VIST TO SECURITY FORCE KILINOCHCHI
51 Trainee Officer Cadets from Intake 84 of Sri Lanka Military Academy during their familiarization tour to the North, paid a visit to Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi on 19-20 July 2017.\r\n\r\nOn arrival at the Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi, trainee Officer Cadets were welcomed by Lieutenant Colonel Ravi Pathiravithana psc , Colonel General Staff and Lieutenant Colonel Arjuna Kodippili RSP, General Staff Officer II (Coord).\r\n\r\nOn 20 July 2017, a presentation on ‘Role and Responsibility of Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi and Military Assistance in Post Conflicts Scenario’ was conducted by Lieutenant Colonel Arjuna Kodippili RSP, General Staff Officer II (Coord). During the presentation as well as at the question and answer session, contingency were made erudite on the present situation and the efforts that have been taken by the military to develop livelihood of the people and how the military support has been enhanced to promote the Reconciliation Mechanism in the Kilinochchi District. Further, at the end of the session, Brigadier Admin and Quartering, Brigadier Kuamara Handunmulla presented a memento to the Most Senior Cadet of Intake 84 Officer Cadets.\r\n \r\nAfterwards, Contingency visited the Hasalaka Gamini Kularathna Monument at Elephant Pass, and offered a floral tribute to the Warrior Hasalaka Gamini Kularathne.
