KILINOCHCHI TROOPS DONATED ESSENTIAL ITEMS AND DRY RATION TO THE FLOOD VICTIMS IN SOUTHERN
Under the direction of Commander, Security Forces – Kilinochchi Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana USP ndc, Troops intensely donated dry ration packets, water bottles, food items and stationeries as relief aids for people who were affected by the recent floods in Rathnapura, Kalutara, Galle, Matara District People. This aid were loaded to the humanitarian train named “Purawasi Athwela” which was journeyed from the north of the Kankesanthurai railway station to Mathara rail way station, collecting aids for flood victims on 10 June 2017.\r\n\r\nUnder the concept of His Excellency president Maithree Pala Sirisena, this train was inaugurated its journey, collecting the school equipment and books, pillow, mattress, mosquito net, detergents, toothpaste, cleaning equipment, kettle sheets, tails, adults and other and especially children\'s clothes, school uniforms, book bags, shorts, shoes and pedophiles.\r\n\r\nAll the Senior Officers, Officers and number of Other Ranks serving in the Headquarters gathered to mark this noble donation.
