KILINOCHCHI TROOPS CONTINUED THEIR COMMUNITY PROJECT IN KILINOCHCHI
15 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment serving under the 651 Brigade of the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi organized a Shramadana campaign to clean up the surroundings and renovated school main gate at Vellankulam GTMS in Thunukkai on 13 May 2017.\r\n\r\nThe Shramadana campaign got underway in response to a request made by the principal to the Commanding Officer of the 15 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment. More than 20 - 30 civilians and villagers teamed up with Army personnel to carry out this social service for the benefit of school childrens. \r\n\r\nAfter the Shramadana campaign, the principal on behalf of the teachers and the children of the school extended his gratitude to the Commander and all personnel of the Army for cleaning the school premises.
