DISTRIBUTION OF DAIRY CATTLE AMONG LOW INCOME FAMILIES LIVING IN KILINOCHCHI
In order to achieve the government\'s objective, it is essential to be self-sufficient in milk Production Island wide. The Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi, Major General Ajith Kariyakarwanan USP ndc has propelled to assist the low income people who are living in Kilinochchi district, by distributing Dairy cattle in order to uplift the mutual awareness and cultural harmony between civilians and military. The subjected programme has taken place on 10 May 2017 at Lumbini Maha Viharaya in Kilinochchi. \r\n\r\n20 x dairy cattle were distributed among designated personals basically from Visuwamadu , Poonakaryen, Mallavi areas. Meanwhile, considerable amount of dry ration packs also circulated among them. \r\n\r\nMr. Suntharam Arumainayaham, the Government Agent – Kilinochchi together with Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi graced this charitable occasion and Chief Incumbent of Lumbini Maha Viharaya, Deputy Inspector General – Kilinochchi, General Officer Commanders of 57,65 and 66 divisions, Brigade Commanders, Senior Officers were also participated.
