65 DIVISION TROOPS ORGANIZE BOOK DONATION TO SKANDAPURAM GOVERNMENT TAMIL VIDYALAYA
65 Division and 20th Battalion of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment troops organized a book donation campaign at Skandapuram Government Tamil Vidyalaya on 05 May 2017.\r\n\r\nThe donation was made by Mrs. Dinusha de Silva, from Nawala, Rajagiriya and worth of the books were Rs.100,000.00 and 26 of school bags were donated by students from Vishaka Vidyala and donation was accommodating a request made by the General Officer Commanding- 65 Division Major General Sarath Weerawardhana.\r\n\r\nExcept library books, school books and stationeries were distributed among 26 students of Skandapuram Government Tamil Vidyalaya during the event\r\n.\r\nMajor General Ajith Kariyakarawana USP ndc , Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi graced the occasion as the chief guest and distributed books and stationeries among children. General Officer Commanding – 65 Division Majora General SarathWeerwardhana RSP USP IG, Brigadier General Staff- Security Forces Kilinochchi- Brigadier Jagath Rathnayaka RWP RSP USP , the principal, teachers and all students at Skandapuram Government Tamil Vidyalaya were present at the simple ceremony.\r\n
