SECURITY FORCES HEADQUARTERS KILINOCHCHI CELEBRATES NEW YEAR FESTIVAL
On the concept of Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana USP ndc Commander Security Forces - Kilinochchi, arranged series of Sinhala and Hindu New Year auspicious events, giving prominence to traditional customs and rituals.\r\n\r\nOn 14 April 2017, all ranks tea table was arranged with the participation of Officers and Other Ranks of the Security Forces Headquarters -Kilinochchi and it’s under command battalions.\r\n\r\nDuring the all ranks tea Commander announced the Commander of the Army new year massage and shared his New Year thoughts with participant’s and special gift were distributed to civil staff serving in Security Forces Headquarters –Kilinochchi to appreciate their service rendered to the organization.\r\n\r\nOn the Same day, Commander Security Forces - Kilinochchi paid his New Year visit to all Divisions and Forward Maintenance Area. During the visit Commander shared his views and passed his New Year wishes to all under command troops and enjoyed refreshments with them.
