TROOPS ASSIST TO BLESSING CEREMONY AT KANAKAMBIGAI AMMAN KOVIL
Before releasing the \" Mangala Diyawara\" (sacred water releasing ceremony) for Yala Kanna from Iranamadu tank, farmers who have Paddy Fields irrigated under Iranamadu tank held a special praying and blessing ceremony from God named Kanakambigai Amma ceremony at Kanakambigai Amman Kovil on 27 March 2017.\r\n\r\nAccording to the guidance of Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana , troops conducted sharamadana campaign (self - help) at Kanakambigai Amman Kovil premises. Furthermore, troops offered special refreshment and provide other basic facilities to the hindu devotees who has participated to the pooja ceremony.\r\n\r\nKovil Trusty Board and hindu devotees in the area appreciated and wish the god bless to the military troops for their contribution in this religious event.\r\n
