KILINOCHCHI TROOPS ASSIST TO DONATE ARTIFICIAL LIMBS
In response to a request of Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana USP ndc, Commander Security Forces - Kilinochchi, The mobile healthcare provides hearing aids, eye treatment and diabetic screening, besides prosthetic limbs to war victims in Sri Lanka which was conducted by Sri Lanka Rotary Club - Colombo, was held on 22, 23 and 24 March 2017 at Harmony Center in Kilinochchi.\r\n\r\nA team consisting with 4 Medical Doctors and 4 Orthopedic Biomechanics were participated to treat for people in Kilinochchi District under the patronage of Rotary Club. More than 364 people who are suffering from eye, ear disorders and leg amputation were treated by the said team. At the free limbs fitment camps, 19 amputees were donated the artificial limbs.\r\n\r\nThe event was coordinated by 5 Sri Lanka Armoured Corps with the direction of Security Forces Headquarters - Kilinochchi.
