COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE RENDERED BY THE MILITARY TROOPS
Troops of the 15(V) SLSR had been rendered a tremendous effort to assist in the event of a funeral held of 70 years old low income person (E Paranandu) who permanently resident at Thewampiddi area in Mannar district. The said person has passed away due to a heart syndrome on 05 March 2017 at his home.\r\n\r\nThe subjected person was cremated at Thewandi Public Cemetery at 1030 hrs on 06 March 2017 with the support of the villagers and mil tps of 15(V) SLSR.\r\n\r\nThe funeral was assisted with many services such as providing temp shelter, meals and other essential support by the military troops and it was deeply appreciated by the gen public who attended for the event.\r\n
