SHRAMADANA CAMPAIGNS CLEAN THUNUKKAI & AYYANKANKULAM HOSPITAL
Due to monsoon season, so many non-communicative disease will be raise in the society. Kilinochchi district community also effected from this problem in presently such as a dengue. Adding their contribution to one more community project at the request of hospital authorities, 65 Division troops has conducted \" Sharamadana Campaign\" to clean of surfaces and maintaining a high level of hygiene in collaboration with the Thunukkai and Ayyankankulam Regional Hospitals staff, to prevent community suffer from non common diseases and uplift community health facilities in the area. \r\n\r\nOn 09 March 2017 Gajaba Regiment troops under 652 Brigade joined with Ayyankankulam Regional Hospital minor staff and cleaned the hospital premises. Meantime, 21 Sri Lanka Light Infantry Battalion also cleaned the Thunukkai Hospital premises on 10 March 2017 to give priority to make a beautiful environment in the hospitals. \r\n\r\n During this campaign troops mainly cleaned drainage system and mosquito bleeding places in the hospitals premises. The point is that with enough willpower, hospitals can enforce proper hygiene and keep their patients safe from needless infections.\r\n\r\nAbout 50 soldiers together with several officers took away garbage and cleaned the said hospitals premises with the support of the minor staff in the hospital. \r\n
