NEW STEP TO STRENGTHEN THE OF YOGHURT PROJECT OF WOMEN SOLDIERS IN 6th BATTALION OF SRI LANKA ARMY WOMEN\'S CORPS
As per the Concept of Major General Amal Karunasekara RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, Commander Security Forces - Kilinochchi, a newly constructed equipped building was handed over to the women soldiers of 6th Battalion of Sri Lanka Army Women\'s Corps (SLAWC) on 13 January 2017 by Major General Amal Karunasekara RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc , to extend the yoghurt project . The yoghurt project was inaugurated with the intention to provide the product for servicemen and civilians at concessionary rates as a welfare measure and to outside sources in order to generate funds which could be used to improve welfare of the service personnel at Security Forces - Kilinochchi.\r\n\r\nThe building was constructed by 11th Battalion of Corps of Engineer Services (CES) under the supervision of Forward Maintenance Area - Kilinochchi. For This Opening Ceremony, Brigadier Dammika Kariyawasam USP Lsc,Commander - Forward Maintenance Area, Brigadier Jagath Rathnayake RWP RSP USP, Brigadier General Staff - Security Forces Kilinochchi, Colonel Kumara Handunmulla Brigadier Admin and Quartering - Security Forces Kilinochchi, Officers and Other Ranks from 6th Battalion of Sri Lanka Army Women\'s Corps participated together with the Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi .\r\n
