With the dawn of 2017, troops of 651 Brigade had rescued a brutally injured hind (female deer) who seek their assistance. On 02 January 2017, the hind had crawled to main entrance of 651 Brigade with severe injuries. Troops of 651 Brigade rushed to rescue the hind and had taken helpless animal into the Brigade premises and started the recovering process of her life with the assistance of soldiers of Army Medical Corps.\r\n\r\nAfter preliminary treatments, the hind has been handed over to veterinary surgeon of Kilinochchi wild life conservation, Dr.Kiridharan and his team. Meanwhile, Dr. Kiridharan praised the good faith of troops and he admired the contribution of Sri Lanka Army towards the wild life conservation.\r\n
