GRAND CELEBRATIONS ON THE 6th ANNIVERSARY OF SF (KLN) WITH RELIGIOUS OBSERVANCES
SF HQ (KLN) splendidly celebrated the 6th anniversary on 29 June 2015 with traditional military customs and norms giving priority to religious observances with the participation of Officers, Other Ranks and civil employees. Series of event were carried out from 20 June 2015 to 30 June 2015 to be line with celebrations. \r\n\r\nCommencing series of religious activities on 20 June 2015, all night pririth ceremony at SFHQ (KLN) followed by the SF (KLN) flag blessing ceremony on 22 June 2015 at Kiriwehera, Katharagama. In par with the celebration, The Hindu kovil pooja was held on 29 june 2015 at the kanakambegaekulam Hindu kovil - Kilinochchi, troops attended Man of Thanks giving at St\' Theresa\' s Church - Kilinochchi and Islamic prayers a Jumuah Mosque - Kilinochchi on 28 June 2015. \r\n\r\nIn addition to religious ceremonies blood donation campaign was conducted on 25 June 2015 with the collaboration of Army Hospital, Kilinochchi. On 28 June 2015, musical night was held for the entertainment of the troops in Kilinochchi AOR. \r\n\r\nKeeping with the traditions a guard turn out and a guard of honour was also awarded to Commander SF (KLN) followed up with a tree planting and all ranks\' lunch on 30 June 2015. \r\n
