SRI LANKA ARMY INTER SECURITY FORCES NOVICES BOXING MEET IN KILINOCHCHI - 2015
Under the supervision and direction of Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander Security Force Kilinochchi, Inter Security Forces Boxing Meet - 2015 was organized by Major General G R H Dias USP psc IG, General Officer Commanding - 65 Division with the coordination of Sri Lanka Army Boxing Association. The finals of boxing meet got underway on 23 April 2015 at \"Nelum Piyasa\" in Kilinochchi with the participation of boxers representing 07 Security Forces. This event was conducted by the referees of Sri Lanka Boxing Federation. \r\n\r\nThe final day of the meet was witnessed by Major General A P DE Z Wickramarathne RWP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding - 66 Division who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest representing Commander, Security Force Kilinochchi. Major General G R H Dias USP psc IG, General Officer Commanding - 65 Division welcomed the Chief Guest on his arrival at the venue.\r\n\r\nBoxers of the Security Force - West carried the trophy as the champions in the tournament after a close encounter. Security Force - Central emerged as runners-up and trophies to the winners were given away by the Chief Guest.\r\n\r\nPrivate Madushanka A K L (S/478644) of Security Force - Kilinochchi was adjudged the Best Boxer and Private Silva P K U (S/478956) of Security Force - Central became the Best Looser.\r\n\r\nA large gathering including GOCs, Brigade Commanders, Senior Officers, Officers and Other ranks were present at the event.\r\n
