State Minister of Defence, Hon Ruwan Wijewardene MP visited Security Force Headquarters (Kilinochchi) on 07 February 2015.\r\n\r\n Commander, SF (KLN) after a warmly welcome at the Iranamadu helipad Drive-past / Guard of Honour were awarded to Hon Minister with military traditions. Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army, Commander of the Navy and Commander of the Air Force were accompanied the Minister.\r\n\r\n Commander SF (KLN) conducted a comprehensive briefing in related to current situation in the SF (KLN) AOR and the CIMIC activities conducting in SF (KLN) AOR including the projects coordinating at Harmony Centre Kilinochchi. Commander awarded him a symbolic memento as a token of memory of his visit to the SF (KLN). \r\n\r\n Later Hon Minister addressed more than 1200 tri services troops at Nelum Piyasa. CDS, Comd of the Army/Navy/Air Force, all GOCs and Snr Offrs were attended for the occasion. \r\n
