FIRST SF HQ LEVEL CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT/SF (KLN) GAME ENDS WITH FUTURE HOPES
1. The Championship Tournament and SF (KLN) Games organized under the direction of Comd SF (KLN) ended in a triumphant note at Kilinochchi Central College Ground on 31 Jan 2015, rekindling better hopes in the field of Army athletics and sports. \r\n2. Hundred of athletics and sportsmen and women of 57, 65, 66 Div, FMA and Support Arms U/C to SF HQ (KLN) renewed vigor and enthusiasm in the past three days (29, 30 and 31 Jan 2015). \r\n3. Saturday\'s closing ceremony with finals, headed by Comd SF (KLN) on the invitation of Comd FMA (KLN) who coordinated the event saw many invited school athletes from Kilinochchi schools competed in relay races with excitement and vitality.\r\n4. PT display, March Pasts and greetings of the Chief Guest added colour to the event which goes into history as the first of its kind held at the SF (KLN) AOR. \r\n5. Result of the Championship Tournament/SF (KLN) Game including schools games as fols:\r\na. Yogapuram Maha Vidyalaya won the Male Championship.\r\nb. Mankulam Maha Vidyalaya won the Female Championship.\r\nc. S/13Q2082 Pte Sathkumara HPS - 13 SLNG won the award of Best Male Athlete of the field events.\r\nd. S/R100830 Pte Shanika RS - 6 SLAWC won The Award of Best Female Athlete of events.\r\ne. 65 Div emerged the Overall Championship of Security Force Kilinochchi Championship Tournament.\r\nf. 20 GR won the overall Best Bn trophy.\r\n6. All GOCs, Bde Comds, COs, U/C troops, schools teachers and students from Kilinochchi schools attended for the events.\r\n
