SF HQ (KLN) TROOPS COMES FORWARD TO ASSISTS FLOOD VICTIMS
1. As per the direction given by Comd SF (KLN), troops are assisting/providing all possible masseurs to ensure the safety of flood victims in respective areas in liaison with government origination.
2. Troops of 20 SLLI and 18 (V) GR were engaged in rescue and immediate relief operation in flood affected areas in Nallur, Pudumurippu, Shiwanagar and Urthipuram in 66 Div area of responsibility (AOR) on 22 Dec 2014.
3. Further troops provided cooked meals and distributed those among the rescued people who temporary sheltered in schools and some other public buildings.
