YOGA TRAINING FOR MILITARY PERSONNEL IN KILINOCHCHI
On the concept of the Comd of the Army, Yoga instructor course was conducted with the collaboration of eminence Yoga Trainers in Sri Lanka in order to enhance mental and physical efficiency and spiritual practices of military personnel.
Under the guidance of Commander SF (KLN) Yoga Instructor Training Course was commenced for 56 NCOs on 15 Oct 2015 at AIPTs (KLN) employing instructors who trained through aforesaid course.
Special advance training session was conducted by popular actress and Yoga trainer Mrs. Anoja Weerasingha and her team for participants of the course from 12 Nov 2014 to 14 Nov 2014. Commander SF (KLN) and senior officers visited the programme on 13 Nov 2014 to witness the progress.
Further it is scheduled to commence Yoga training programmes at Div/Bde/Bns appointing the trained NCOs as Instructor.
