With the invitation of the Commander SF HQ (KLN) Maj Gen S A P P Samarasingha RSP USP psc, The Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army visited Security Force Kilinochchi on 31 July 2014.
Chief of Staff attended for the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for the new Officers$ Mess to be built for the Officers in SF HQ (KLN). The ceremony was held with the blessing of the Venerable incumbent, Kilinochchi Lumbini Viharaya and the Chief of Staff laid the foundation stone at the auspicious time starting its construction. He planted a tree in memory of his visit to SF HQ (KLN).
Commander Security Force Kilinochchi, GOCs, Bde Comds and permanent staff Officers/ ORs of SFHQ ( KLN) attended for this occasion.
