DISTRIBUTION OF BICYCLES TO STUDENTS IN KILINOCHCHI
Troops serving in the Security Force Kilinochchi continue their community roles in order to help the students of low income families in the area. With the intention of developing students’ transport facilities to carry on their studies enthusiastically, bicycles were given away on 25 June 2014 at Harmony Centre Kilinochchi in a function presided by Commander SF(KLN).
Total number of 1000 bicycles was distributed in Kilinochchi area including 7 bicycles distributed today. Guna sathuta Padanama (Foundation of Goodness) sponsored for these seven bicycles.
Commander SF(KLN), GOC of 57 Div, Mr. Kushil Gunasekera Chairman of Foundation of Goodness, his staff, students and teachers in the area attended for this event.
