97 school children of low income families in Amithiyapuram Primary School and Arogyapuram Primary School were donated school items on 02nd November 2018 at Amithiyapuram Primary School and Arogyapuram Primary School premises. It was arranged by Commander 652 Brigade, Brigadier Wanditha Mahinkanda on the instructions of General Officer Commanding, 65 Division, Brigadier Wasantha Kumarapperum.
Mr. Sarath Chandrasekara and Mrs. Sumana Wijerathna, who provided school bags, overcoats and under garments to distribute among school children with the intention to encourage them. Commander, 652 Brigade graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest and recipient's facial expression shows that their neediness & happiness after receiving donation.
Senior Officers,Officers and Other Ranks under 65 Division participated in the event.
