As per the direction of General Officer Commanding, 65 Division, Brigadier Wasantha Kumarapperuma and under the supervision of the Commander, 653 Brigade, Colonel Robin Jayasooriya, troops of 653 Brigade organized a Dogs sterilization programme to control the growth of dogs population in 653 Brigade area on 21 to 23 October 2018. The Animal Protection Trust Organization has extended their Assistance to conduct this event.
During the programme 203 nnumber of dogs were vaccinated in Alamkulam and Palinagar area.
