DISCUSSIONS WITH AUTHORITIES ON SECURITY MEASURE FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN

On 14 May 2019, Brigadier M D Wijesundara RSP, General Officer Commanding, 66 Infantry Division and Commander 661 Brigade Colonel KMHS Wickramarathne RSP had a meeting with the Principals and staff of Pooneryn Central College and Poonakary Sri Vigneswaran MV on the security measures taken to ensure the safety of students.

Further, GOC emphasized that the assistance and cooperation of the parents and staff of the school is advised and expected in future too. Meanwhile, they also appreciated the military assistance to maintain the conducive environment at the schools.
