A three-day programme, initiated intending to promote conduct of personal life and health among Officers and Other Ranks of the Security Forces – Kilinochchi got underway during 17 - 19 July inside all Divisons under the SFHQ-KLN on the instructions of Major General Niyshshanka Ranawana, Commander, Security Forces – Kilinochchi.
The programme, organized by Major General Vijitha Ravipriya, General Officer Commanding 57 Division, was supported by Consultant Psychiatrist, Colonel R. M. M Moneragala, Director Army Preventive Medicine and Mental Health Services and a team of six instructors. The programme was conducted for troops in the 57, 65 and 66 Divisions during those three days.
During the course of the programme, troops had the opportunity of asking questions, related to their personal problems from the instructors and seeking solutions as regards family life, friendships, etc and other issues connected to mental development.
