Workshop on “Military in Internal Security Operation” Held in SF HQ –Kilinochchi

A workshop to educate Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers and Staff Officers serving under Security Force Kilinochchi on ‘Military in Internal Security Operation’ got underway at the Auditorium of Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi on 10 February 2021. This workshop was conducted with the instructions of Commander Security Force Kilinochchi Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda and the coordination of Directorate of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law.

ICRC Regional Armed and Security Forces Delegate Brigadier (Retired) Jacques Lemay, ICRC Regional Armed and Security Forces Programme Adviser Mr Channa Jayawardena and ICRC Head of sub delegation- Vauniya Mr Patrick Moreaw educated the gathering. Meantime, visiting delegates paid a courtesy call on the Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi at his office. 24 Senior Officers have got the opportunity to enhance their knowledge by attending this session.
