WELL EQUIPPED RIOT CONTROL TEAMS TRAINED IN 66 DIV
After termination of Humanitarian Operation extra involvement taken up by the Security Forces in relation to activities under MACA (Military Assistance to Civil Authorities). That emphasizes to provide military assistance to pol in order to maintain law and order in the country. \r\n\r\n In that initially 1 x Officer, 1 x SNCO and 1 x NCO from 18 (V) GR undergone a proper training at Infantry Training Centre - Minneriya. In that according to the direction of GOC 66 Div and with the close supervision of Commander 662 Brigade the first Riot Control Demonstration conducted at 18 (V) GR Bn HQ - Paranthan on 20 August 2015 with the participation of all officers and riot controlling teams in 66 Div. After the demonstration GOC 66 Div educated and emphasized the importance of the maintaining of proper Riot Control Teams with in the AOR.\r\n
