Series of welfare projects were launched by the Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi for the benefit of civilians in and around the District and soldiers in the AOR on 08 and 09 July 2019. 26 Civil personals and 70 army personals were present at the program at the main conference hall Security Force Headquarters.
The program was organised and launched with the participation of Secretary to State Ministry of Defense Mr. N K G K Nammawaththa, Deputy Director of Ministry of Mahaweli Development Mrs. Lathika Hapuarachchci and Commander Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi Major General G V Ravipriya WWV RWP ndc IG together with his staff officers.
Commander Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi Major General G V Ravipriya WWV RWP ndc IG made the warm welcome and invited Secretary to State Ministry of Defense Mr. N K G K Nammawaththa to present his speech about the assistance that can be extended to make the project a success.
Afterwards, Deputy Director of Ministry of Mahaweli Development Mrs. Lathika Hapuarachchci briefly explained the crowd about the benefits of the projects. Meanwhile the attendance expressed their views and difficulties. A vote of thanks deliverd by Commander Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi brought the day’s proceedings to an end.
