VISIT TO ARMY BASE HOSPITAL KILINOCHCHI IN CELEBRATION OF SINHALA AND TAMIL NEW YEAR
As per the concept of Commander of the Army and on the directions and guidances of Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi, General Officer Commanding - 57 Division and Senior Officers have visited to Army Base Hospital, Kilinochchi on 26 April 2017 reviving age - old practices during the times of Sinhala and Tamil New Year, the “ Negam Yama” (visit to relatives).\r\n\r\nOfficer Commanding of Base Hospital has warmly welcomed Briagdier H J S Gunawardhana RSP USP ndc psc, General Officer Commanding – 57 Division on his arrival to hospital and briefly exchanged views about the present situation of hospital. General Officer Commanding expressed New Year message on behalf of Commander Security Forces - Kilinochchi and parcels of gifts were distributed among patients.\r\n\r\nBrigadier R M P J Ratnayake RSP USP Brigadier General Staff of Security Forces Headquarters - Kilinochchi, Colonel N C Somaweera RWP RSP USP, Brigade Commander - 574 Brigade, Colonel I P Kandanaarachchi, Colonel Admin & Quartering of Security Forces Headquarters - Kilinochchi also attended the event.\r\n
