TROOPS OF SF(KLN) AREA LAUNCHED SEVERAL PROGRAMMES TO HELP THE LOW INCOME PEOPLE

In view of supporting the civilians who are facing difficulties during the curfew hours due to the pandemic of COVID - 19, a distribution of pre-cooked foods packets and drinking water for the low income families in Kachkuvary, Pudiyakolane, Panikkakulam, Olumadu areas got underway on 26 March 2020 by the troops of 574 Brigade.

Simultaneously, an awareness announcement was conducted in 571 and 572 Brigades area by troops to make aware of the general public related to spreading Covid-19 epidemic and adequate preventive measures.

This programme was conducted by under the direction of the Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi, Major General HMJK Gunaratne WWV RWP RSP ndc psc and the close supervision of Major General BPS de Silva RSP, The General Officer Commanding of 57 Division.
